what area of Accounting should I study in college as a 50 year old undergraduate student?

I have always stayed home with my children, but now I am back in college and need to have a good job. I really love going to college, but I have heard that the Big Four Public Accounting companies don’t hire older people. Then, what field in Accounting should I study?
